Finally, a young prodigy with a strong personality emerges! It has been a year since his debut album "THINKKAISM" was a hit. Saxophonist Qi Matsumaru has been making further progress by participating in a number of high-profile projects, including SMTK led by Shun Ishiwaka, which released its EP and first album this year. His latest work is a saxophone quartet formation of the royal road. Backed by the piano trio "BOYS," with whom Hideaki Kanazawa, Akira Ishii, and Shun Ishiwaka have worked together for more than 10 years, this free and melodic work explores the possibilities created in the space between composition and improvisation.
