NAUTILUS is a new generation of rare groove band that has been highly acclaimed outside of Japan.
The final chapter of a four-part series of 7inch singles will be released on Record Day 2022.
The A-side features a cover of Weldon Irvine's "We Gettin' Down," a song synonymous with 70's rare groove that is so famous as a sampling material. Mariko Nakabayashi's (key) vocoder, which was featured on "Expansions," is featured throughout the album, adding to the urban sound.
The coupling track, "Nautical Table," is a floor-matter original jazzy funk track that is a perfect ending to this series.
The band has many more tricks up their sleeve for their 7th album, which is currently being recorded.
Expect to hear a new masterpiece that will create a stir in the rare groove scene.
